Prayer for Today

December 28, 2017

Father, you have given me a heart to go after my destiny by using the gifts, talents and abilities you placed in me when you created me. When I look back over 2017, I see I started out using my gifts, talents and abilities to live out my destiny, but then I stopped. I got side tracked by the cares of this world.

Lord, I am pledging now to stay focused on what you have for me in the upcoming year. I am going to keep your plan for me in the forefront of my mind and allow the things of this world to fade into the background.
Lord, put good people around me as wise counsel so my plans will succeed. Allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide me into all your truths. Allow me to write the vision you’ve given me for my ministry, my health, my career, my spiritual wellbeing and my financial life.

I know with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the help of others, I will see my vision come to fruition. Strengthen my heart so that I will not grow weary of doing well. Help me to focus on my destiny and not my past so I can remain steadfast, immovable and not swayed by the storms of life. Help I keep my eyes on you, so I will remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty, who no foe can stand against.
I will be steadfast in pursuit of my destiny! I will not be defeated! In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

10 Second Prayer

God specializes in handling our situations and circumstances. Nothing we can do or anywhere we can go is beyond God’s ability and desire to reach us.

Stop fretting over things you can’t do anything about and give them to God. He can take care of them completely.
