Our relationship with our friends and family are determined by both parties. But in 1 Corinthians 6:19 – 20, we are told that God owns us, and we no longer belong to ourselves. Therefore, God sets the standards of our relationship with Him and tells us we are to live our lives so that we reflect the holiness of God. (1 Peter 1:15-16).
