Lord, I do not want to use the pandemic, or not being able to attend my house of worship as I normally would, as an excuse for not using my gifts, talents, and abilities to help move Your kingdom forward here on earth. Show me how to use the resources that I have at my disposal to do what You have called, purposed, and set me apart to do.
I will not lean-to on my understanding because my understanding is faulty and full of fear and doubt. I will lean-on, rely on in and rest upon You because You are the author, perfecter, and finisher of my faith.
I know I cannot operate in my power, but through the power that allows me to be self-sufficient in Christs’ sufficiency. The power of the Holy Spirit allows me to be confident, not in myself and my accomplishments but in Christ, who gives me strength.
Lord, renew my mind so I understand nothing is too difficult for You to perform through me. You are my strength and my shield. Thank you, Lord! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
