Lord God, I pray for everyone affected by Hurricane Laura. Father, I asked that You would help the people of Louisiana and Texas.

Please give the people wisdom as to how to deal with another new normal for their lives. Help those who are helping the survivors to remain focused on the survivor, and understand that this may be the most challenging time of the survivor’s life. The survivor may not be pleasant, but help the person be friendly, sympathetic, and patient.

Lord, strengthen all who are involved. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
