Prayer for Today

April 27, 2020

Lord God, I pray for the survivors of the COVID-19. I include the medical staff, which put their lives on the line every day and survive this pandemic that has taken so many lives.

I pray that the survivors do not have survivor’s remorse and that they can live their lives knowing that they were meant to survive because that was Your plan for them.

Lord, I pray for their families who are grieving the loss of family members, loved ones, and friends. I pray for those who would be anxious about going out and living their healthy lives, thinking that COVID-19 or another virus may take place, and they may be the victims this time. Ease their worries and concerns. Lord, let them know that You are their peace and contentment.

Help us all reach beyond our strength and find our strength and resolve in You. Uphold our hearts in hope. As a world community, we depend on You to be with the survivors, friends, and families of the loss. Comfort families and friends soothe worried minds. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
