Thank You, Lord, for the new mercies I see today. Thank You for removing and washing away everything that I did yesterday, last week, last month and last year that didn’t please You. You have thrown all my old stuff into the sea of forgetfulness never to drag it up again. Your forgiveness is complete.

Lord, I don’t have to feel guilty about anything I’ve done or said. I’m no longer bound to that which created shame in my life. I am not tied to the pain. I am released from the misery of my past experiences. I am free to live in the freedom that comes from being Your child.

Thank You, Lord, for Your forgiveness and not holding my past transgressions against me. Help me forgive myself as freely as You forgive me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
