Father God, help me to be obedient to Your call on my life. Help me to see my past failures as You see them; as lesson learning opportunities. Help me see my mistakes the way You see them, like character-building exercises.
In Your holy word, You used all kinds of people to get Your message out to the world. You used liars, murders, tax collectors, prostitutes, adulterers, and an assortment of other sinners, just to show the world, no one has to be perfect to serve You. We just have to be willing to obey a perfect God.
Help me, Lord, to serve You with my best and help my best to get better every day. This is my prayer, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
