Father, one thing I purpose for this year is to be filled with your word. I will not allow your word to depart from me. I will keep it hidden in my heart so, whenever I need wisdom, insight and understanding your word will lead and guide me into all truth.
The world system wants to tell me what to think, how to act and what I should do but I won’t listen to the world system. I listen, lean on and rely on your truth to enter my mind, heart and spirit and direct me in the path you have selected for me.
My soul is made glad by the knowledge of your work in my life. I refuse to turn back to what I was or where I was before you changed me. I will cling to you and your word today. I will fill my mind with whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—I will think about such things.
Today, I purpose to allow the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart to be pleasing in your sight, for You are my Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. In Jesus name. Amen.
