God has the Blueprint
“My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” Psalms 139:15 – 16 (NIV)
A blueprint is an architectural plan or an engineering design that lays out how something, whether a shopping mall, office building, home, or even a car, is going to be built. Every detail about the item is in the blueprint.
Nothing is done to the physical project until the blueprint has been approved. Where every bathroom is going to go to is in the blueprint. The blueprint tells the builder the width, height, and depth of the dashboard in a vehicle. The length and span of a bridge are in the blueprint before one beam is purchased.
Nothing is left to chance. Everything is designed and approved before any work begins. So it was with your life. God designed your life, laid out the blueprint of your life before you were born. He made you with all the attributes you need to withstand whatever life throws at you.
God already knows the end from the beginning of your life, and he designed you to be able to live out your life to fit his plan and purpose for you. God did not leave anything to chance. He designed you to establish his purpose in you and allow him to accomplish all his good pleasure in your life. (Isaiah 46:8 – 10).
God has already marked out the good works he wants you to do. So why aren’t you doing them? The problem is simple: you’ve gotten stuck. You’ve gotten stuck on something that has happened in your life or something you did, and now you think God’s plan for you is over. No way!
God’s blueprint for your life included the mess-ups, shortcomings, failures, and falls of your life. Nothing you’ve done or has been done to you has stopped God’s plan for your life. So, get out of your comfort zone and start fulfilling God’s plan for your life!
Prayer:
Lord, I never thought about my life being laid out by You in the form of a blueprint. I never considered that Your plan for my life made provision for my shortcomings, mess-ups, failures, and falls. I never thought that through all I’ve done. You still have a plan for me. I haven’t ruined it. Thank you, Lord, for Your grace and Your mercy. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Just for Today:
I will seek after God’s blueprint for my life, starting by reading Psalms 139 and Ephesians 2.

I allow myself to break. I’m not afraid of my flaws.” Lady Gaga
