Prayer for Today

April 22, 2021

Lord God, so many linked our prayers together regarding the Derek Chauvin verdict. We were praying for justice and Your will to do be done. We thank You that You heard our prayers.

You hate injustice. You continuously tell your children to act justly, walk humbly, do good to everyone, and act in kindness. Father, let this be a turning point for our Nation to start doing good to everyone and treat everyone justly and equitably.

Lord, help me focus on what is good, right, and things worthy of acknowledgment, not only about me but about everyone I encounter today. Help me keep the negative and evil thoughts and concepts away from my mind and my heart. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
