Lord, time is moving so quickly. It seems I barely have time to plan my work for one day before it’s time to face the next day. During the day, so many people and things are vying for my attention. Chief among them is my family and friend, the pandemic, and the upcoming election.
Help me, Lord God, focus on the things I have control over and let the other stuff go. Help me keep my eyes on You, believing You have everything under Your watchful eye and covered with Your mighty hands.
Help me focus on being obedient to You, and working on the tasks You have given me, even though I don’t see how it’s all going to work out. Please help me not to procrastinate, but to move forward quickly because time is fleeting. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
