Father God, things seem to be getting worse instead of better. Our leaders are at each other’s throats. The Democratic-led House and the Republican-led Senate can’t agree on anything, and American citizens are suffering because both sides of the political aisle are acting like juvenile delinquents.
Citizens are pursuing violence to get their point across and drowning out the people who are peacefully requesting a change. The stress that can build through all these facts is enough to make an average person give up. But we’re not average!
Your children are a royal priesthood! While we may not agree with each other on every point, we still love each other. We are mighty to achieve great things in Your name, and by Your power. Therefore, we shall press on.
We will not grow weary of doing good. We will show the love of Christ everywhere we go. We will not faint, but we will allow our lives to be a beacon of hope to those who have lost their way.
We will move forward in victor.! In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
