Father, my heart is heavy. My mind is over weighted with everything that is going on in the world, and I don’t have the words for everything I’m feeling and thinking.
George Floyd being murdered by the police. Christian Cooper being threatened with the police by a woman who didn’t want to follow the rules. The United States has hit 100,000 deaths due to the Coronavirus, and people getting spit on, cursed out and disrespected because they are asking people to wear masks.
Lord, it’s just too much, and I can’t take too much more! So, I am crying out to You asking You to lead me to the rock that is higher than me. Lead me to Jesus. He is my shelter. He is my strong tower, and He will prolong my life. Lord God, I will try to find a praise in my heart, and I will trust in the covering of Your wings.
In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
