Lord God, today I link my prayer with millions of others around the world who are praying for people affected by COVID-19. Father, we need You to intervene for those struggling with the disease and their family members.
Father, we pray for those who have lost loved ones; allow them time to grieve and mourn their loss, but then turn to You, their loving Father, who is full of tender mercy. Father, we pray for those who have lost their jobs or had to close their business. Losing jobs and business can push people over the edge, but, Lord, we ask that You guard their hearts and their minds as they move through the challenges and uncertainties one day at a time.
We pray for leaders of the countries affected by the virus. Help them to reach out and help those in need. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
