Lord God, people are always talking about living a balanced life. But what does that mean?
Does being balanced mean putting the most important, most weighty things first and then filling in the rest of our time with other things that aren’t as important?
Does living a balanced life means prioritizing everything that’s going on in my life and only doing the things that rise to the top?
Lord, I think living a balanced life means praying and seeking your face so I can hear from you and then act according to your will for me. One day at a time. One project at a time. Lord, I look to you to balance me as you lead and guide me to your perfect purpose for my life.
I pray, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
