Lord, You told me to be anxious for nothing but, that’s a very difficult request when there is so much going on in the world. Tariffs that will affect the US economy by affecting our farmers and other industries that produce products that we sell to other countries. These changes will affect my ability to take care of my family.
There is so much going on in my family. My children must go to school and be subjected to so much hate, anger, bullying, and dejection. My parents are getting older and need my help, which I really don’t have to give them. My job wants more and more from me but doesn’t want to give me any additional money. The list of issues goes on and on.
Lord, I’m asking for Your help. Being anxious seems to be easier than having hope. Worrying seems to be simpler than having faith, and fretting seems to come much easier than trusting. I need You to help me not to be anxious for anything but, in everything, let me request be known to You. In Jesus name. Amen.
