Lord, in the midst of all that happens everyday in the world, my hope rests in you. I know that You will meet me at my point of need and ensure that everything I need I will have, in accordance with Your riches in glory through Jesus Christ.
Today Lord God, I ask that you keep me focused on the completed work of Christ and the work You have called me to do. I know that the work You have for me may be difficult but it will not be more difficult than the work Jesus had to do during the original Good Friday.
Lord I thank you in advance for helping me focus on You, the work You have planned for me and Your purpose for my life. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
