Father, today I link my prayer with millions of others who around the world who are praying for the friends and families of the survivors or the Alabama tornadoes and the Ethiopian Airlines crash. Father, they need you to intervene for them. No matter where we live, we are all Your children, and You love us all equally.
Father, we pray for those who have lost loved ones; allow them time to grieve and mourn their loss but then turn to You, their loving Father who is full of tender mercy. Father, we pray for those who have lost all their material goods. Their home, clothes, car, and jobs. Father loses like these can push some people over the edge, but Lord we ask that You guard their hearts and their minds as they move through the tragedy one day at a time.
Father, we pray for leaders of the countries and the companies involved with these tragedies. Help them to reach out and help the lost, the least and the less than in this time of great turmoil. Father, be our peace. In Jesus name. Amen.
