Father, we thank you that this nation is blessed because our God is the Lord and we are the people you have chosen for your inheritance. It saddens me to see us fighting and tearing our nation apart from the inside out. We don’t have to worry about terrorist attacks from other nations; we have people in leadership that are terrorizing our very own citizens.
Lord, your word is clear that we are to take care of the orphans, the widows and those who are in need. Help us Father not to be a nation run by the greed of a few verses the need of the many.
Help us not to mistreat our fellow citizens who have less than the rich rulers. Help us to show true Christian love and do unto others as we would want others to do unto us.
We release these truths into every realm of life in this nation, so that people will say, “Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.” In Jesus’ name, Amen.
