Prayer for Today

August 8, 2018

Father, I want to ask for forgiveness. I have not focused on you, your goodness or the kindness you show me every day.

I have focused on the things of this world; my financial shortfalls, the hopes and dreams I have that seem like they will never be mine. I’ve focused on what I don’t have much more than I focus on the good you provide for me every day of my life. For this I am sorry and ask for your forgiveness.

Today Lord, I commit to focusing on you, your love and the mercy you have shown me and my family. In Jesus name. Amen.
