Father, it seems that no matter how much you give me I always want more, different or better. More money, a better job or a different outcome to a situation; but today Father God, I just want to be thankful. I don’t want to ask for anything, I just want to give you thanks for all you’ve done for me.
The fact I can read this prayer means you gave me sight today, thank you. The fact I can hear my spouse, children, television, neighbor or the truck going down the street means you gave me hearing today, thank you. I have gas in my car or have the strength to walk to a bus stop, either way, thank you for the provision to get me where I need to go.
Today Lord, I want to be grateful and thankful. I don’t want to take anything for granted because it could have been different had you not thought enough of me to give me everything I need to move through my day in victory. Thank You!
