Pray and Do Something

June 24, 2021

Often, we pray for new jobs, new homes, spouses, a different lifestyle, more money, or other things we want or need. But after we’ve prayed, what do we do?

Thankfully, God hears our prayers, and according to Mark 11:24, He will answer our prayers if we believe. But are we guilty of the crime of doing nothing?

If we believe that God is true to His word and He will give us what we pray for, what actions are we taking? To pray about something but do nothing about it means we don’t believe that God is true to His word.

To paraphrase Hebrews 11:6 we must move in faith because it is only by faith that we can please God. To have faith enough to pray but not enough faith to do something means your faith is on Struggle Street.

How do you get your faith off Struggle Street? DO SOMETHING, and believe that God is going to be true to His word.
