Father, heal us! We are sick with arrogance, anger, fear and malice. We are stricken with the cancers of bigotry, racism and division. We need Jehovah Rapha, God our healer, to break through our hearts of stone and gives us hearts of flesh.

Father, we are our own worst enemies when comes to showing a lost world the love of Christ. No wonder people don’t believe in you or what you stand for. Too many of us, your children, who have been bought with a price act like, talk like and walk like those who are lost in sin. Forgive us!

Father, you purchased us, redeemed us from our empty lives; not with perishable things like gold and silver but with the precious blood of Jesus. You had your son pay the price that we couldn’t afford to pay. Yet, we treat other people with disdain, contempt and meanness because they disagree with us. We crucify Christ before the world all over again! Forgive us Lord! Heal us! Free us from our egos, pride and self-importance. Heal us Lord! Only you can do it! In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
