Living Life Above Mediocrity
There are times in our lives when we feel like God’s plan has gone wrong or we’re doing something wrong. In these times there are two ways of dealing with things; the way that leads us to mediocrity or the way that leads us above mediocrity.
Mediocrity says: “I’ll settle for what I have and what I can get standing right here. God must not mean for me to get any more. I’ll make the best of what I have right here.”
Above mediocrity says: “God has everything in control. Nothing is out of God’s line of sight and overview. I will continue to press to complete the last thing God told me to do until He tells me to do something else.”
During this Lenten Season many of us are purposing to be more like Christ. That means we have to go through hard times, difficulties and heartbreak but, it’s all in God’s plan to give us live and that live more abundantly. (I Peter 4:12 and John 10:10)
The same pledge God made to Joshua He makes to us, “…I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Joshua 1:5) You can’t become greater by giving up! Press! God is still in control and He’s still with you!
