Lord, I want to live a life that is worthy of the call you have placed on my life. I want to be the beacon of hope for the people in my family, on my job and in my church who are vacillating in their faith in you.
You have called me to be set aside, consecrated, holy and acceptable to you. My life is not my own because I have been bought with a price, which could only have been paid by the blood of Jesus.
Lord, you expect me to be different. You expect the world to look at me like I’m peculiar. It is your desire that I don’t go long to get along because I am your special possession, a part of your royal priesthood. I have been chosen by you. I will not fit in. I was created to stand out.
Help me to live a life of grace, mercy, peace, hope, love, kindness and steadfastness. Help me to be immovable standing firm on your word as my foundation. Help me to live my life like a tree planted by the streams of water; never lacking anything but being rooted and grounded in you Lord God and have the living water of Jesus Christ flowing in me.
Help me to operate in the fullness of who you are and who you have created me to be. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
