Prayer for Today

II Corinthians 5 7

June 11, 2016

Father, I prayed this prayer earlier this year. Now, it’s six months later and I’m still asking for the same thing. I’m asking that as I pursue my greatness by pursuing you and your plan for my life, there will be times people will tell me “no” when I know the answer should be “yes”. There will be times and in certain situations where I will be rejected and turned away as if I’m not good enough but, during these times I will not fret or worry because I know you are head over everything in heaven and on earth (I Chronicles 29:11 – 12).

Nothing is out of your control; therefore, if man gives me an answer of “no” or “wait” after you’ve told me “yes”, I will continue to seek your face and operate in your favor until you make the necessary changes in me or in the situation (Philippians 4:19).

Father, I know you are with me at all times. You make your face to shine upon me and you are gracious to me (Numbers 6:24 – 27). The greatness that you have placed in me is greater than any power of or in the world system (I John 4:4 – 6). This is why I choose to rest in your word, believe your truths and work by faith (II Corinthians 5:7 and James 1:6).

Father, for the rest of this year I will move and operate in greater, knowing that greater is coming! In Jesus name I pray, amen.

10 Second Prayer

God specializes in handling our situations and circumstances. Nothing we can do or anywhere we can go is beyond God’s ability and desire to reach us.

Stop fretting over things you can’t do anything about and give them to God. He can take care of them completely.
