Lord, amid a viral pandemic, which attacks our lungs and makes it difficult to breathe, we find ourselves in a racial epidemic of young African-Americans killed by police. This racial pandemic attacks our hearts, and our minds, and tells us it’s okay if other people can’t breathe.
Father, even when people, institutions, and companies want to change, others allow hate, mistrust, evil disregard for others, and feeling superior to others to reject the change that needs to take place in our country.
Our country requires a change of heart. We need to see Your light shining in the life of everyone. We need to believe that You made us all equal. We need to think that all people were created in Your image. We need a spiritual revival. We need to be infested with Your love, peace, grace, and mercy for each other.
Lord, hear my prayer and help our nation. Only You can do what we need doing; change the hearts of people. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
