Father God, we have California burning with over 500 fires burning out of control and earthquakes in various cities in the State. Families are being displaced, people with health issues are being affected by the smoke, but they can’t go to the hospital because COVID-19 is on the rise in the State.
Our nation is seeing COVID-19 number going up because people aren’t heeding the scientific community’s warning. College campuses are closing days after opening, public schools are seeing a record number of outbreaks, and people being hospitalized due to the virus is increasing.
Two tropical storms/hurricanes are heading towards the Gulf of Mexico with the potential of affecting millions of people. Unemployment is at an all-time high, and our leaders are doing anything but leading.
Then, to put the cherry on the top of the disastrous sundae, everyone has their challenges and issues. Many people are finding themselves depressed, anxious, or out of sorts. We need You, Lord. Comfort your people because our hope and trust are in You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
