Lord God, the world is full of cynics, those who question Your reality, validity, and necessity. That’s why they don’t understand people like me who believe in You and purpose to live my life to please You. I worship You and work to lay down my will for Your will for me because I know that You have the best plans for me.
The cynics think I’m crazy and that I allow organized religion to make my decisions for me. They don’t understand that I praise and worship You because everything I have; every gift, talent, ability, and skill, are not of my doing, but they come from You.
I know that I need You to breathe. I need You to live a life of peace, joy, contentment and love. I know that without You in my life, I am nothing. I don’t care what the cynics, the naysayers or unbelievers may say about me. My hope, trust and faith will always be in You.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
