Lord God, this morning I pray for all the survivors of the Sri Lanka attacks on Easter. Innocent people are going to church and in hotels, being murdered by those who are ruled by hate.
Lord, I pray for their families who are grieving the loss of family members, loved ones and friends. I pray for those who would be anxious about going out and living their normal lives, thinking that another bomb attach may take place, and they may be the victims this time. Ease their worries and concerns. Lord, let them know that You are their peace and contentment.
Help them reach beyond their own strength and find their strength and resolve in You. Uphold their hearts in hope. As a world community, we depend on You to be with the survivors, friends, and families of the loss. Comfort their families and friends soothe worried minds. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
