Lord, there is always so much to pray about. We live in a world system that feels like it is in constant turmoil, with no relief in sight. Then we realize, you are our relief and our hopes are in you.

You are the reason we can smile and laugh even when our hearts are heavy. You are the reason we get up in the morning and keep putting one foot in front of the other knowing that you care about everything that concerns us and, in due season, if we just keep moving forward, we will reap the harvest that is rightfully ours.

You are why we can look at desperate situations and still believe they are going to work for our good. You are the assurance of our future.

Today Lord, affirm our hopes in you. Declare your love for us in new and fresh ways. Show yourself strong in our lives. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
