Father there is a song that says, “tragedies are common place, all kinds of diseases, people are slipping away, the economy’s down, people can’t get enough pay, but as for me all I can say is ‘thank you Lord for all you’ve done for me’.”
Thank you, Lord, for all you’ve done for me is my hearts cry this morning. Every homeless person I see could have been me. Every person addicted to something that they can’t seem to kick, could have been me. Every person who’s in a hospital or suffering with a disease could have been me. Every person who is suffering from loneness could have been me. Everyone of their stories could have been my story, but that’s not what you have for me. I thank you!
The life story you wrote for me, through your grace and your mercy, has been different. Not because of anything I’ve done, just because you didn’t choose that path for me. Thank you, Lord, for all You’ve done for me.
In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
