Prayer for Today

John 14 27

May 18, 2016

Father You are my peace! More than just my peace, You are my Shalom. You are the reason I am complete; nothing missing in of my life, nothing out of place. You are the fulfillment of everything I need, when the need arises. You are the “I Am Who I Am” God.

Father, when everything seems to be going to hell in a handbasket, You lift up a standard again my enemy; a human enemy, a supernatural enemy or my own flesh that doesn’t want to submit to my spirit person. You lift up a standard against the enemy that rages in me! You are my Shalom!

Yes Father, I recognize that sometimes I’m my own worst enemy. My old habits, my old thought patterns and my old attitudes want to rise up and have me live the way I use to live before Jesus became my Savior and Lord. Jesus paid too high a price to redeem me back to You Father, for me to allow my old ways to drag me backwards! You are my Shalom!

I am a new creature, old things have died and I am new in Christ Jesus. I have His Shalom living in me! I have Jesus’ Shalom quieting my flesh! I will submit to the Shalom of Christ and I will not allow the raging storms in my life to cause me to operate like my old self. I am a new creature and I am full of the Shalom of Christ. I believe and walk in it, in Jesus name. Amen.

10 Second Prayer

God specializes in handling our situations and circumstances. Nothing we can do or anywhere we can go is beyond God’s ability and desire to reach us.

Stop fretting over things you can’t do anything about and give them to God. He can take care of them completely.
