Lord, as I begin to peel back all the layers of pain, disappointment, sadness, and unachieved hopes and unrealized dreams; the things that have put me in my rut, remind me, You are faithful to Your word.
The word You spoke over me when You created me is still true. Where I am right now is just a part of the great work You are doing in me, which will bring me to the places and the purpose You have already set aside for me.
You have begun a great work in me, and You are faithful to perform it. I will see the harvest of the seeds You have planted in me, not because of what I’ve done but because of the work, You are doing in me.
Lord, be my strength while You work in me. Lord, undergird me with Your power as I go through this part of my spiritual season. Increase my hope in You and my faith in Your word. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
