Lord, everyone seems to focus on building careers, purchasing bigger homes, getting better cars, and achieving more power. But, to what end? Does realizing any of these things make the world better? Does getting all the glitter of the world help those who are in need? I don’t think so. Father, help me focus on the eternal instead of the temporal.
