Good morning Lord. I appreciate the goodness and kindness You show me, my family, and my friends in the face of adversity. Amid the heartache of dealing with everything that’s going on in the world and ill-tempered people, You, Lord, hold us close and keep us in perfect peace if we keep our minds and hearts stayed focused on you.
Father, I believe that no matter what happens today, You are with me. Your rod and Your staff will comfort me. You have made a place for me even if others don’t want me there. You have covered me and anointed me to do Your work and Your will today. No matter what the enemy may bring my way, You are my very present help in the time of my trouble.
I praise Your name and glorify You because I am more than a conqueror because of Christ Jesus living in me by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. I am up for anything that may come my way today. Not because of who I am, but because I am Yours. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
