Prayer for Today

January 4, 2021

Lord God, in 2021, I will move to what is good, right, and perfect in Your sight for me.

Release me from the bondage of yesterday. I do not want to hold on to what happened in 2020. I want to move into what is happening now.

You are allowing me to do things in new ways. Old things have passed away. You are doing new things, and I want to be a part of them.

Lord God, I want every area in my life to be affected by You. I want my life to change so that I can see the newness of You in everything I do. I want to let go of everything that brings me pain, emotional discomfort, or an unhealthy lifestyle. Father, I want a new me in You.

I want to have the right mindset; positive. The right frame of mind; I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. The right spirit; nothing is impossible for me to achieve. And, I want this mindset and frame of mind in my life every day.

I want to achieve the greatness You planned for me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
