Father God, with everything that’s going on, sometimes I just want to give up working on the businesses, tasks and ministries You’ve given me to do. I think, “why to bother; everything is going down the tubes. I should just stop because nothing is going to come out of what I’m doing anyway.” Nothing could be further from the truth.

Things do look dark and dismal now, but tomorrow is another day for You to show me Your goodness and mercy amid COVID-19, people losing their jobs and companies shutting down, You are still God, and You are mindful of Your people.

Today is another opportunity for me to move forward in what You’ve given me to do. Today is another chance for me to get off the sidelines and get into the game of life. I have another opportunity to get it right. I have another chance to let You lead my life according to Your plan and Your will for me.

Help me, Father, to focus on what is good, right, and worthy of acknowledgment and to keep the negative and evil thoughts and concept away from my mind and my heart. Today I choose to walk in the light of Jesus all day long and not to burden myself with things that aren’t within my control. I will not worry or fret myself because of evildoers, but I will keep my mind on Jesus and allow Him to direct my path. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
