Lord God, You are our provider, our source, and our very present help in the time of trouble. In communities the world over, many businesses are in trouble. Many people are concerned about their jobs, their bills, and their families. College students are wondering how they are going to complete their classes, and some people are stranded in foreign countries, wondering how they are going to get home.
Heavenly Father, I ask today that You make way for business owners to keep their businesses during this time of economic uncertainty. Employees keep their jobs or find new ones so that they can provide for their families. I pray You to move upon the hearts of college professors and administrators, so they will understand the needs of the students, and have compassion on them during this time of high anxiety and stress.
Lord, I ask that You make way for those stranded in foreign countries. Give the people and government officials in their host countries empathy for them. Comfort Your people, Lord God. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
