Lord, when I know I’m doing what’s right in Your sight and opposition comes against me, help me to stand my ground. When people want to object to me because I am holding on to Your standard of living, remind me; greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world and help me stand my ground.
When situations and circumstances seem insurmountable, bring to my memory all the times, You successfully brought me through difficulties and hardships. I will not grow weary in well-doing. I will not surrender the gains I have made in transforming my life to make it look the way You planned for it to look.
You Lord, God, are my refuge and strength, a very present help in the time of trouble. You are my shelter, my protection and my covering in times of trouble. I can always depend on You to be there for me. What can man do to me when You are my God? I will rest in the knowledge of Your love for me and I will stand my ground. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
