Lord, strengthen my faith in You.
In this world with so much going on, there are a lot of reasons for me to be fearful. People killing each other in record numbers, earthquakes, hurricanes, and the on-going threat of manmade disasters is enough to make me want to stay in the house and never come out. But You have not given me the spirit of fear, but of love, power and of a sound and self-controlled mind. Help my unbelief.
I believe that nothing can come against me that will overtake me. Nothing can arise against me that You haven’t already conquered by the finished work of Your son, Christ Jesus. Nothing in this world that can stop Your plans and purpose for me. Nothing in my life is greater than You. My faith looks up to You.
Lord, strengthen my faith in You. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
