Father, for the last few weeks it seems we’re having a repeat of what happened about 10 years ago.
Money concerns with new taxes, tariff concerns that will raise how much people pay for items that they need and with the on-going question about our economy going into another recession. So many people are having relationship problems. Domestic abuse, child molestation, and human trafficking are on the rise. And, the list of things that distress your children goes on.
For those who go to work, it seems to be more difficult every day. Drama and trauma seem to be around every corner. For those who own their own businesses, it seems that there aren’t enough customers or clients to keep the company afloat. Forget about growth, just trying to maintain the contracts they have is enough of a challenge.
It seems no matter how much I pray, You don’t hear me, or at least, You haven’t answer. But I know You are still my only hope and help. So, I ask you to fill my heart with Your glory today. Let Your peace prevails in my life today. Allow Your joy to flow in my home and please place Your grace and mercy over my family.
Everything may not go my way today, but You are still my God, and You’re still sovereign in everything You do. I will trust You.
I will trust You have my best interest at heart. I will trust. You know what’s best for me. I will trust You know what plans You have for me and the path I must take to fulfill those plans. I will trust Your love for me is the overriding factor for everything I experience today.
In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
