In the midst of all that is going on in my life, I will look to the hills from which comes my help. My help comes from the Lord, the creator of heaven, and earth.

He is my strong defender. When the enemy wants to come against me and overtake me, Jehovah-Shammah Who never leaves me or forsakes me will take up my cause. When the world and all things and people that are around me want me to worry and fret I say, “The Lord is my Helper, I will not be seized with alarm – I will not fear or dread or be terrified. What can man do to me?

When my mind wants to bend to the things of this world, I say, “I have the mind of Christ. I think like Christ. I hold the thoughts, feelings, and purpose of His heart. I trust in the Lord with all my heart, and I do not lean to my own understanding. In all my ways, I acknowledge Jehovah-Shammah, my God, who is always there, and He will direct and make straight and plan my path.”

Father God, I thank you for being my Jehovah-Shammah, my God who is always there. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen.
