Father, thank you for calling me Your child. Thank you for providing me a way forward, even while I’m in the winter season of my life.

It seems like nothing in my life is growing, nothing is improving, and nothing is moving in a direction that I had hoped. Everything looks dead, dormant, or dying, and I feel like my life will never turn around for the better.

Just when I’m ready to go back into my rut, I remember Your words, “weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning.” This season of my life is temporary. It will not last forever, but Your word will and it will never return to You void. It will always accomplish exactly what You’ve set it out to do.

This season seems difficult, dark and cold, but in You, I will continue to walk in the way that leads to life. Thank You, Father, because even in my winter seasons, You are still my provision already met. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
