When you visit the site, our servers and tools may record your IP address, browser and device type, pages you view, the site that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. Some of this is collected through cookies and similar tools, described in section 4.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Process and deliver your orders, and send receipts and order updates
  • Create and manage your student account, and give you access to courses, challenges, and your dashboard
  • Answer your questions and requests
  • Send ministry updates or announcements, but only if you have asked to receive them
  • Understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it
  • Measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram
  • Protect the site from fraud and abuse, and meet our legal obligations

4. Cookies and Tracking Tools

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use them to keep you signed in, remember what is in your cart, and see how the site is used.

  • Essential cookies keep your login, cart, and checkout working. The site cannot work properly without them.
  • Meta Pixel. We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure visits from our Facebook and Instagram ads and to show our ads to people who have visited the site. Meta may collect information about your visit under the Meta Privacy Policy.
  • Embedded fonts and media. Pages may load fonts from Google Fonts and link to content on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. Those services may receive your IP address when they load.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may stop working. You can manage ad preferences in your Facebook ad settings.

5. Purchases, Courses, and Outside Stores

On our site. When you buy from our shop, your payment is processed by a secure third-party payment processor (such as Stripe or PayPal). That company handles your card details under its own privacy policy. We receive only what we need to fill your order, such as your name, address, and what you bought.

On Amazon and Etsy. Some books and products are sold through Amazon or our Etsy shop. When you follow a link and buy there, Amazon or Etsy collects and handles your information under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your payment details from those purchases.

Email messages. If you sign up for updates, we will email you about devotionals, classes, and resources. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us to be removed. Order and account emails will still be sent when needed.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only in these cases:

  • Service providers that help us run the site, such as our web host, payment processor, email service, and website developer. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
  • Advertising and analytics partners, such as Meta, through the cookies described in section 4.
  • Legal reasons, when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our ministry, our users, or others.
  • With your permission, in any other case you agree to.

7. How Long We Keep Information and How We Protect It

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. Account information is kept while your account is open. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including secure (HTTPS) connections and password-protected accounts. No website is completely secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.

8. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we have about you, and give you a copy
  • Correct information that is wrong
  • Delete your information, unless we must keep it by law
  • Stop sending you marketing emails
  • Not use your information for targeted advertising

To make a request, email hello@anitawamble.com. We will respond within 45 days and may need to confirm your identity first. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Depending on where you live, such as California, other U.S. states with privacy laws, or the European Union and United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under local law. If you are in the EU or UK, we process your information to fulfill orders and accounts you request, with your consent for marketing and advertising cookies, and for our legitimate interest in running the ministry. You may also file a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Children’s Privacy

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

The site links to other websites, including Amazon, Etsy, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your information, so please read their privacy policies.
