Prayer for Today – Perfect Peace

Father, I know I’m going to meet challenges, but when I face them I will say, “I am a child of the Most High God. He will keep me in perfect peace if I keep my mind steadfast on God because I trust in Him.”

I will tell my problems that my God is the awesome God. No one else has measured the waters in the hollow of theirs hand nor marked out the heavens by the span of their hand. Only my God can call the stars out one by one, call each one by its name and make sure none of them are lost.

I will tell my adversities that my God is the everlasting God. He never grows tired or weary. He strengthens me because my hope is in Him. When I pass through situations of life that want to overwhelm me, I will not fear because I know that God is with me.

When I have to walk into circumstances that cause me heartache and hardship, I will trust You to bring me out. I will not be afraid for You Lord God, will never forsake me.

Father God, I believe and will walk in Your word. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
