forgiveness from the past - tennis ball

Father, I want to ask for forgiveness. I have not focused on You, Your goodness or the kindness that You have shown me in the land of the living.

I have focused on the things of this world, my financial shortfalls and hopes and dreams that seem unachievable for me. I’ve focused on what I don’t have much more than I’ve focused on the good that You provide for me every day of my life. For this, I apologize and ask for Your forgiveness.

Today, I commit to focusing on You and the love, grace and mercy You show me and my family every day.

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen
