The one thing we can never recover is time. Once it’s gone, it’s gone never to be seen again. Whether it’s a minute, an hour or even a second, time is fleeting as it moves by us and into eternity. Today Lord, I give you my time. Help me to be productive. Help me do the things I need to do and not just focus on the things I want to do. Help me not to be lazy or sluggard, but to move out and do what you have ordained me to do today.
Lord God, my time is the most valuable commodity I have. Help me to use the time that you have given me to fulfill all the task of my day, and then, to find sweet sleep at the end of my work. My time is not intended to be wasted or killed. Forgive me for wasting my time and help me to move into a new level of time management. Help me manage my time by the task you give me to complete and not by unproductive busyness or my lazy tendencies.
In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
