Lord, you have control of my life. You are the essence of my being, the very depth of who I am, because without you I am nothing.

I want to mature in your word which will propel me to maturing in your ways. I want to know your plans for me. Your plans to prosper me and not to harm me. Your plans are to give me hope and a future.

I know that I have gone through some very difficult periods in my life. I have endured heartache, disappointment and pain but, I don’t resent any of it because I know each experience I’ve gone through are all a part of your plan for me.

I submit to your plans for me. The good days and the difficult times all serve to help me mature to a place where I can understand, accept, acknowledge and carry out your plans for my life.

Thank you Lord for thinking enough of me to plan my life to have prosperity and hope. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
