Father, to you today we are lifting our children, especially our children who are missing. In the United States, roughly 2,000 children go missing every day. Lord, this must stop!
The news is saying that many of the young ladies who are missing in the DC, Maryland and Virginia area haven’t been abducted, rather, their home lives are so bad, they simply walked away from home, preferring to live on the streets. Lord, this must stop!
Lord, the U.S. State Department, says 600,000 to 800,000 people are trafficked across international borders every year, of which 80% are female and half are children. Lord, this must stop!
Father, as a civilization, we have forgotten your word that says, “children are a heritage from the Lord.”
Father God, we need you to help us be better parents, better custodians and better people. Please bring our children home and help us treat them the way we should so they can grow and become the people you created them to be. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen
